Slam Evil colored
My good friend Ken Patterson was kind enough to lay some colors on my pencils. I think it turned out really well.

Slam Evil
Yeah.
Natalie Nouveau and leroy rockWELL, characters created by me and Ken Patterson. I drew this today in about 2 hours. I'm so proud of it because I was actually able to crank out a decent background. I'll be posting the first drawing I did of Natalie Nouveau on my blog.
Just because . . .
Habari za asubuhi (good morning) SBAS Krew! I just posted this just because nothing has been going up lately and I wanna see some action! LOL! This was done on a scrap piece of paper while I was on some downtime. I love learning new techniques workin on other projects but many times I just want to go back to my own thing. So this is my mental journey back into my realm of thought. I like to be rough and animated and I just love drawing city elements so this is what spilled out. This guy is a resident of Vex County which is a neighborhood in Big City.
Peace!

It's Friday!
This weeks sketchjam topic, as Dawud has already indicated: Revisit an old drawing with your new improved skillz. A side by side comparison would be nice but it's not essential. AAAAaaaaannnd GO!

Inspiration
The last few days I been in a drawing rut! Nothing I draw looks right or I just can't seem to get the juices flowing into the pen. Whenever you hit that rut what artist or music do you look at or listen to that gets you back into the flow of things. A lot of time I can check out a new artist or even a old artist site and be so amazed that I just start drawing.Post some links to sites that you like to visit and admire the artist work enough to get the juices going. I need some new sites to peep to get out this rut.

Steps and rework
Ok as promised some step progression, I usually show the sketch but in this case I saved over it before taking a snapshot. And I am reworking the right arm because initially I rushed to meet a deadline but has since been extended. Thanx to Dawood's critique I was compelled to show the arm more. And I'll be making the Leopard match better.

NEW TOPIC TUESDAY!
I did this for the new topic where we take an old drawing or character, basically something from our past and update it. Also upload the original character or drawing so we can see your progress. I will be uploading the original tomorrow. I forgot to bring the drawing to work today. This is a character I made up in the fourth grade. His name is "The Shark". Did you guess that already? The fin on his head gave it away? LOL! As lame as it may sound now he was the bomb back in the day! He survived about 3 issues of my super hero group "The Persuaders". He died in issue four with a knife to the chest. Heavy stuff! LOL! Anyway I look forward to the other posts.

baby steps...
I guess since the topic of the week seems to be "run" here's my two cents, in between projects at work. Mine is less action packed as the others, but I'm in a chill mood today :) , and my coworker's baby is in the office, so what the heck! Run, baby, run... (well, as fast as your chubby baby legs can carry you)
