baby steps...

I guess since the topic of the week seems to be "run" here's my two cents, in between projects at work. Mine is less action packed as the others, but I'm in a chill mood today :) , and my coworker's baby is in the office, so what the heck! Run, baby, run... (well, as fast as your chubby baby legs can carry you)

Simply beautiful - this "is" high action - "high baby action." Reminds me to remember to try and empathize with a babies world and how they see things. High action for a baby is someone holding they're hand and helping them walk and paying attention to them playing etc. The color choices are briliant also. The pastel background - shading on the head, arms and legs - and the diaper (did i spell that right?).
Most of all I love how you made the adult not so important and rather when down to the tots playing field - I think this might be a good subject for you to create a series on fine art wise. (Perhaps)

This is true inspiration for me ... "Transcendent"

Good proportions considering the baby was runnin all over the place and not posing for you. Children are not easy to draw so kudos for that. I would suggest maybe adding a little more color to add volume to lil man and maybe let it fade out at the hand holding Jr. I don't know if that makes sense but just a suggestion. Good study!
