Well since I didn't post last week's old to new, I'll do it today, since the posts have been scarce this week.. (sound of crickets.... )

Beautiful colors on the hair The cools and warms. And I like the brush texture too. Very soothing. ahhhhh.
the original was painted with gouache, and was without any contrast.. :( the new one is digital. But as I've been painting digitally, I've been learning more about my color composition, working with shadow, hightlights, etc... Thanks for the tips though, I continue to learn. This was one of my first pieces using this painting technique I learned from a co-worker. been building on it since.
