random portrait sketch

As a general rule I don't draw people I haven't met face to face. They tend to get insulted but I figured Dawood seems like a pretty laid back person so why not try? With a few spare minutes and nothing else to go on but that tiny profile avatar, this is the quickie that I came up with.

ENuFF of the "Why So Serious" Line!!!

So sick of hearin' people say that.

But anyways, I figured I'd post this here since I haven't posted in a good minute. Ya' boi been steady scowering for work. So there is my sad, yet true "my dog ate it" excuse. So if you steady passin' up any decent paying art projects because your plate is already full, pass that shit over.

Anyways, this is obviously an attempt at my own version of the enigmatic Harley Quinn.

There's more of a creative process over at my blogger for anyone curious and a fun lil' Harley Quinn poll you can vote on too over at my Deviant Art Page here.

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I hear Mickey D's human resources department calling.

Peace and Luv,

I'm back!

Photobucket
I have not posted for a few weeks. This is an acrylic painting I did one evening. Nothing driving the topic but feeling my original style that goes back to childhood. I always had a tendency to draw faces that look like they're ready to scrap! LOL! I just like drawing that. Also wanted to go back to my old graff roots with the colors.

Creation of Controlled Kaos

This was a really fun sculpture. It is based on a concept drawing I did a month ago. The original character wears a garment. I started not to do the mid section - just the head and limbs but I got so caught up in the moment that i decided to chew out a torso for the guy. I am currently constructing the garment so when it's finished I will post it along with the original concept image.

This sculpture took me 2 days - not including the time it took to produce the armature wireframe and pipe stand.
Thanks for viewing'

Digital Sumi

Sup errybody? Here's a sketch that I just came across and thought I'd post it up. I was experimenting with Corel painter trying to achieve a water color/ Sumi brush look. It's Samurai Jack if you didn't guess already.
