With the help of some friends, I have compiled a roster of talented artists to contribute to a weekly sketch jam by invitation only. Every week or so we will settle on an idea and will each take a stab at illustrating the concept. The level of completion can be anything from a rough sketch to a finished rendering. This blog is intended, for those who are involved, to be an opportunity to challenge one another, to challenge ourselves, and to connect with our contemporaries in the field.

Nice, Jack was the ish too!
You did your thing on this.
It would be cool to see it animated because it truly looks like its in motion.
I'm loving Painter(9) myself right now. I mainly use the pencil and pens (fine point). Painter is a really strong application with many options, so I definitely appreciate what you did with this piece. Did you use a textured background?
-- On another note,
I used to come by this blog often . . . but wassup with errybody. It's like nothing is popping. I'm just stating this from the position of fan. No body owes me anything, I'm just saying.
You're right, as many members as this blog has the content is languishing!
I guess I should start removing people who don't participate after all.
As for the background, the wash was done in painter but the distressed texture was added in Photoshop.
