Celebrate black history
Here's an illustration of playwright Suzan-Lori Parks I did for Nickelodeon. The original design was used for one of 3 animated segments I did for them to celebrate black history month. The producers at Nick were awesome enough to give Suzan-Lori and I a framed print of this. My print was actually signed by THE Suzan-Lori Parks. My reference below.
Here are some of the people (below) I Illustrated for last years Black History month commercials which are airing all this month as well on Nickelodeon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
FINAL:
Whats UP UP UP!
Happy new year to all my bredren and sistren at Sketch Book Allstars and to their family.
this is another TYPD cover for the single called BUSINESS ETIQUETTE. Anyway, this is the final, the colour(tone) came a ways from some concepts that I liked but didnt feel right. Actually, this is a little off from the original which was to imitate a TIME magazine cover in a classic black and white. But in the end this felt right (some how) so i went with it.
The problem with not having a tight deadline is the beautiful tragedy in exploration of concepts and ideas that may or may not work, but also take up just as much time. regardless I have once again learned something from it all.
Hope you all enjoy it still.
