The Devil Made Me Do It

Ummmm...ur...ummmm er uhhh..... I got abducted by aliens. So yeah, thats why I haven't been postin' here as much. Yep, thats it. :)

Anyways as many times I've played and love the Devil May Cry series, this is my first attempt at ever drawing Dante.

As I said before over at my blogger site, lately I've been getting somewhat PSD'd out from coloring on the computer since I do it so heavily with my freelance stuff.

So with quick fan homages like these I try to use as many traditional tools that I can with VERY little photoshop to save time. He's hovering over one of those marionette thingy's but I got too anxious to get this out of the way to finish the detail. Anyways hope you all dig this quickie and hope all you fellow SBA'ers are still on that art hustle.

We've been busy . . .

I have not been on the blog for a while and one reason was that I have been on a grind preparing for a relaunch of my Brotherman series. I have called on the assistance of several talented artists and organizers and the progress has been rewarding. Here is our ad that we just launched to promote the new updated website.

This new Brotherman character design was a tag team effort by myself and my main man Brian McGee! Together we have been working to bring new life back to the original designs by creating a new look and feel that stays true to the original gritty style. Maurice Novembre has also been a major component of the design team. Stay tuned because we have some goodies that we are preparing to share with the public soon!

Hey everybody. I'm cleaning up the studio last night and I find an old issue of Brotherman! The story and characters still hold up today. So, this morning when I was doing my drawing warm ups I pushed this puppy out. Can't wait to see the new books D! One.

I know it's been a minute but I've been busy starting a new business. I had to come out of my DB Cooper cave to let ya'll up on some serious bullshit that these republican fucks are trying to push through congress right now. It's a new bill concerning copyright law. This bill will affect all of your past and future works... as in you might not own them anymore. Large corporations like GettyImages could come in and scoop your shit up and laugh at you. This is not a game and not a joke. Read up on this and let's get organized because if this bill passes I'm gonna have to start straight up merkin' people. today is a very special day for all people of color. On April 4th 1968 Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated .We are able to be here because of the sacrifices of so many...l could not have this career if it were not for them.l am here today because that died yesterday.
