Greetings all. I'm not sure if there are still challenges going on, so I'm just going to post work and share some of the vibe. This is a piece done of Purge unlimited. I concept somewhat akin to Batman beyond in reference to Batman. Purge (created by Roosevelt Pitt) is seen here in his futuristic persona. There are many things like about this work. The buildings I feel are a little wonky. The approaching ship I really dig. The original is done in airbrushed acrylic and gouache. since it was never completed I had a copy made, scanned it and here is the result. Enjoy

Here is an experiment in tone and composition. I was channeling a little Frazetta on this one. A commission for Charles Saunders new novel "Dossouye' Due out in a few weeks. He is the masterful writer of the Imaro series. I pray to become the cover artist for all of his future work.
Not to block any other artist, just to have a good establishing run on any novel cover to help develop the look and feel of a character is a true childhood dream.

Fine art excursion

I took a Mono print making class today and quickly found myself far from my comfort zone. I always encourage others to stretch beyond the routine but I haven't been doing much of it myself lately. I must say, it was pretty refreshing. This didn't come out exactly as I had imagined but I had fun.
