The Broke Mans, Ghetto Studio!!!

Finally, a topic I can accomplish quickly :)

My studio space is a bit on the small side. My drafting table/PC station (art studio), entertainment center (living room), bed (bedroom), and dining room table (dining room), is all in the same room! My kids got the only bedroom. But hey, atleast I ain't in the hood no more. We was dodgein' bullets for real!

I count my blessings though. I could have no where to work, so it's deffinately better then nothing. My back does hurt after being up all night on it though.

Yo, peep how close my work table is to my entertainment center, and my little busted computer :D

Anyway, ENJOY!

Oh, PS - Here's a sketch I did today. Working out character design for a childrens book I'm working on. Peace!

That's what I call economizing your space.

I like the sketch of the little boy. I like the style he's drawn in, and the expression and attitude.

You have a good work area nothing to complain about.
Its such a privilege to have the opportunity to work your butt off while doing what you love. and that tablet looks nice! I dig that drawing of the kid nice line quality and face expression.

artgyrl - Thanks for the comment! My space is about as economical as things get. But I'd rock masterpieces on the street if I had to. I'm glad I don't have to;)

Dawud - It's alright. I do wish I had more physical space though. The fam keep's bumpin' my chair going back and forth. The dining table is right at my back.

Man, what happened to you on MySpace?! I loved seeing you there! Holla@yo boy... pencilism_year1@yahoo.com

g7d2 - No bodies knocking my artistic blessing, but hey space is space bra'. I used to have a pc table (what you all see in the pictures) and a drafting table (I had to get rid of it when we moved) to draw on, in my own home office. I scrapped and saved for all that stuff over years. And had to get rid of most of it with in a week. I DO miss it! I plan on getting it all back to. With interest!

Life is like that. Ups and downs. Ain't nothing wrong with working to get the "ups" back. I do appreciate your encouragement though! I've seen your work to. It's very good! And you look like a young Isaac Hayes in your avatar. Very groovy:D! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Peace!
