Recently I have had a few people ask me what criteria must be met for membership into Sketchbook Allstars. At the risk of sounding like an elitist snob I then explain to them that entry into the group is achieved through invitation as it states in the header. However there have been a few initiates recently who have asked for and been granted membership. In all clubs there are rules and guidelines for membership as to maintain some semblance of structure so it does not dgrade into chaos. I will re-iterate for those who are unaware of our rules
1.You must be consistent in your involvement in the group. participation is essential. Members who are idle for 30 days are removed from the group. We are all using this blog group as a place to showcase our work. Those who don't contribute are free to create and manage their own blogs.
2. That you accept the challenges put forth on the blog. The purpose of this group is to be open to ideas that may lie outside our comfort zones, to broaden our horizons as individuals, and to promote growth.
3. If you cannot post art on a consistent basis, then at the very least make comments or constructive criticism on the work of other members and to be open to criticism.
4. And lastly, take ownership of this group. Help to promote us in any way you can. Through word of mouth or by posting our banner on the web etc.

i was invited to join a while back by andre, but was never told how i could participate...
hopefully, the invitation still stands. if so, somebody get at me and lemme know what to do/ how to post!
otherwise, i still intend to participate more (if only out of self interest... there's SO much good information on here...)
