With the help of some friends, I have compiled a roster of talented artists to contribute to a weekly sketch jam by invitation only. Every week or so we will settle on an idea and will each take a stab at illustrating the concept. The level of completion can be anything from a rough sketch to a finished rendering. This blog is intended, for those who are involved, to be an opportunity to challenge one another, to challenge ourselves, and to connect with our contemporaries in the field.

Yeah I will but I was hoping for some feedback before I call it finito.
Excellent idea.
Okay, I think it's too dark in the north east region. You want to set the back ground apart from the girl. Right now the subtle light green trailing the edge of her hair on that side is trying to accomplish this but not fully. You need to establish some sense of distance other than the background being blurry. Lighten the dark green area.
The closer things are to you the more defined they're features are thus the shadows need to change in value. The shadow at the bottom left by her foot and the one under and on the back of her arm are the same in value - one should be lighter and one darker.
I like the tan effect with the lighter parts of her skin.
I will do a paint over to help explain myself better.
looks great man. One day I'll learn how to color
