With the help of some friends, I have compiled a roster of talented artists to contribute to a weekly sketch jam by invitation only. Every week or so we will settle on an idea and will each take a stab at illustrating the concept. The level of completion can be anything from a rough sketch to a finished rendering. This blog is intended, for those who are involved, to be an opportunity to challenge one another, to challenge ourselves, and to connect with our contemporaries in the field.

This is just ravishing - I love the hair (reminds me of the shape of AFRICA). This drawing has a lot of attitude. What is the adult swim bit at the bottom - do you work and cartoon network? Do they own this image?

I'm always amazed when people draw with pen. I can do that becuz I make too many mistakes and have to erase a lot!!!! Plus this is a hot ass looking Sistah girl.
Chicks w/ afros always look awesome. Maybe that should be the next theme. I mean, it sounds simple, but everyone has their own interpretation.

Yo Dawood, the adult swim bit is in the sketchbook. Its a adult swim sketchbook they were giving out here at work and thats at the bottom of every page in the book.
