With the help of some friends, I have compiled a roster of talented artists to contribute to a weekly sketch jam by invitation only. Every week or so we will settle on an idea and will each take a stab at illustrating the concept. The level of completion can be anything from a rough sketch to a finished rendering. This blog is intended, for those who are involved, to be an opportunity to challenge one another, to challenge ourselves, and to connect with our contemporaries in the field.

fun space man!!! lots of great energy around you.
nice spot dre. I bet that cintiq takes up half the room now. I saw the Box for that thing. ITs huge!
to answer Pencilism's question I am able to work at a steeper angle if I lower my chair which is why I look like a lowrider in my picture. Hanging my head down over the page makes my neck ache.
I hate a flatter angle because sometimes you get that drawing that the perspective is a little off because your looking at it looking down and when you lift it it's all funny looking. Plus like Mcgee said just sit lower on the board and not high up where you have to look down all the time. Plus now i got baby stuff in my office lol so when I have to watch Laila she can sit in her chair and watch me draw until she gets bored and starts having a damn hissy fit.
Nice spot! If you don't mind explain to me alittle about that cintiq. Whats its feaetures, how do you like it? did it cost a arm and a leg?
yeah it cost me about two arms and half a leg. lol Around 3k but it a 21 inch screen. I love it. I haven't done anything on paper in awhile since i got it. I goes perfect with alias sketchbook pro. It rotates just like a normal animation board it has buttons for hot keys that i have yet to set up. Its worth having to me saves alot of time unlike paper where if you mess up and have to restart and no more scanner.
wow men,
these r soooo cool then the first ones.
i really wish to visit ur place someday..
