Lonely one....


Here's my take on this week's jam, started as a simple concept to sketch, wanted to see some color on it, so i did a quick paint up. Will redo it later, I stretched the "big city" part and flipped it, but hope I still stayed in the parameters of the theme. :)

i love the fele of this image a lot. in fact it evokes a certain level of emotion as intended. as for the topic for the week, i think it coudl have been pushed more. A play with perpective etc, could have been explored. i will say though it was clever how u worked the image in the end . where are those other sketches u said u were going to post =)? im waiting....

Thanks, I was trying to decided how I wanted to make the city a character too, without focusing too much on the person in the sketch, and still tell a story. I agree, it can be pushed more, it will be.

Oh I didn't forget... My original sketch for the fan art jam was a couple Omega Red sketchs, but I didn't like it any of them once I finished, so I never posted.. But i'll throw one up today anyway.

Yo this is an excellent idea! The emotion is very well displayed. home girl is lonely missing the baby's father. and it was a cool idea to show the the city in the reflection. I think your drawing suffers from a few techincal problems but i think its a very creative and expressive effort
