I was into Dragonball back in the day. I was really into it where i would download the scanslation back in 95 off my poor 56k modem. I was into it before it came to America. Kinda crazy I know. Akira Toriyama artwork had a huge influence on my cartoon style. Dragonball was probably one of my favorite action cartoons in my Teens. I have now started picking up the re-mastered boxsets. Just a quick sketch this morning.

Hey whats up people! Sorry its been forever and a day since I posted. I welcome all the new artists that have joined up since then. Usually I'm busy animating on the computer or designing. Since clients seem to want everything yesterday, I've developed this nasty habit of drawing directly into the computer with my cintiq. Paper oh how i miss you! Here are some sketches done good ole paper with a sharpie and colored in pshop. hope ya dig. Peace!

This is my entrance to the tube, a video of me sketchin out a concept. I started in ballpoint pen and finished with powdered charcoal. This is #1 of 6 videos that complete the image. The soundtrack is Eric Dolphy (jazz legend).

The roar of my own insatiable need to justify my own existence and the paths that I have chosen.
The need to somehow prove that it was all worthwhile and the gnawing fear that at the end of it all, it will have been for nothing.
Regardless, I can only be myself. This is what I am.
I cannot explain it because I did not create myself.
It took 27 years to get to this point and when I put it all down, you know what?
It really doesn't seem that bad at all.
Drawing is strangely clarifying sometimes.

Dali Lama Production Art

This is one of the latest projects I worked on here at Turner Studios. It is a short PSA for the Dali Lama who is coming to Atlanta. I basically storyboarded the spot and created the images that were mapped onto a 3D wireframe. The 3D dept here is insane. They do great work.

l have been working on my OLDSCHOOL sketch ...coloring takes forever when you do it a few times a month. l will drop it soon but in the meantime l did this sketch this morning for my brothers and sista'a over here at the 'Book'. l have just started doing storyboards and it is great to do that as well as my comic and design work. l sleep very little but then again why sleep when you can draw....peace , love and art.

Oil Painting

I was working on some new oil paintings and thought I would post this one up. This was my favorites and I think it's because I did it in two hours. My goal was to stay loose and not beat myself up. I don't work with oils much but I am working on a body of new work now so that I can have a show someday.
