Some PhotoShop Practice...

3 Hours at the money maker (my computer) doin' this one. It's times like this when the MAS can only wish for a Wacom Tablet under the christmas tree this year lol. Seeing some of the work on here lately made we wanna sit back and brush up on my PS skills a bit more. Trying to get in the habit of varying my brushes and improving my toning skills a bit, so this sketch I did of a sexy lil' drill instructor was my guinea pig. The original pen sketch can be seen at this link below.

Crits and Coms welcome. :) Peace.

A little exposure...

Where's Pencilism?

For those who may not have seen this yet, here's a little piece of what I've been doing (among many other things). This is the cover to SouthSide Neffertiti #1. I'm doing the interiors, and cover for the next upcoming issue, so be on the look out for that!

I just got my image hosting back(my own image hosting). I just got new web hosting, and my domain transfered over to the new provider (thanks Sym7 for the GoDaddy tip!) which had some complications, but I'm officially "all the way" back online. I'm preparing for a site relaunch, but I don't have a set relaunch date. I am doing all new art and web graphics for my site though. In the meanwhile I'll keep yall informed. Sorry for being M.I.A. for soo long yall! Peace!

Portrait

This is the latest version. The two below are earlier stages. I changed the lips, neck, eyes, forehead and other aspects. This portrait took eat around three days and I am still touching up things to it. It sits on the wall in my living room so everythird time I look at it I change something.
Any Comments?

This one scales in at 36x70 inches. It is 6 pages of 70lb Canson Drawing paper put together - done with Nupastel and Rembrant soft pastel. It is a work in Progress.

It scales in at 23x36
Done with soft pastels and kneeded eraser. Took about an hour or so.
I put 2 pages of 18x24 70lb paper together.

New Flash Animation - Capoeira Angola

Capoeira is a martial art that has it's roots in Angola, Africa yet was developed by the enslaved africans in Brazil. Today it is one of the most visually exciting forms of martial arts out there. I have recently created a flash animation featuring a brief history on this art form for the intro to our groups web page that we are developing. It was done in my spare time but now I am inspired to do some more rough tests like this one. Click the link above to see.
